What we will experience there

The Gates Center has a computer labs sponsored by Red Hat Inc. which run Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Fedora desktops. Through this generosity, Carnegie Mellon University students have been given exposure to open source software and encouragement to participate in the Fedora Project.

Those who attend will be given a guest account and some basic Linux instruction based on one of the classes who uses this lab: CS 15-123
